Helmond Metalen is a specialist in metal recycling. We ensure that ferrous and non-ferrous metals are collected, sorted and processed in the most sustainable manner so that they can be used again as raw materials for new products. Our services include the periodic collection of metals from industrial companies with our container service. We also take care of the complete demolition and dismantling of large-scale projects, which involves the removal and processing of all materials, including metal. What’s more, we have been the collection depot for private individuals for a long time now.

As a genuine family business from Culemborg, we pride ourselves on the personal contact and quick response that we are known for. Helmond Metalen was founded in 1965 by Jiep Helmond. We are delighted that we now have the third generation of the family also working at our company.
Our close-knit team is made up of passionate professionals, all adhering to the latest regulations and safety standards.
We place our relationship with the customer at the heart of everything we do. Sustainability is also an important pillar for us.
Our modern business premises, on our own site spanning 25,000 m2, are equipped with over 1,600 solar panels that help us make a sizeable contribution to self-sufficiency. An example of this are our electric cranes.

Helmond Metalen is continuously developing in the field of sustainability, not only for now but also for the near future. We have defined a number of objectives and have set about achieving them.
Sustainability was a key part of the project to construct the new building right from the start of the plans. Many important facilities were consciously incorporated into the construction with one eye firmly fixed on the future. The construction of our new business premises took the environment into account, and thought was given to offsetting CO2 emissions.
No sooner had we started to use the new building than we could already record the following results and we mapped out a future with further projects.
