We are a close-knit family business that was started in 1965 by our founder Jiep Helmond.
With its operations back then, under the name of J. Helmond en zn Metaalhandel BV, the foundations were laid to support the long tradition of this family business that is now called Helmond Metalen.

OUR MISSION
Helmond Metalen makes a positive contribution to the circular economy every single day.
Our mission is to both collect and recycle metals sustainably as well as to join with our customers and business contacts in making an important contribution to reducing CO2 emissions.
Processing residual materials is a customised operation where we apply our knowledge and experience to offer a suitable solution for any requirement. The fact that we recycle metals makes our work already very sustainable, but we extend this even further into our operations. Not only is our modern building self-sufficient, for example, but we also work with electric forklifts, cranes, presses and shears and we are keen to be completely self-sufficient in the future.
By continuing to invest in innovations in the field of metal recycling, we remain at the forefront of the market and are always 100% ready for our next project.
